About:
Hi, I’m Ellie—a surface designer and illustrator currently studying Illustration with a minor in Game Development at SCAD in Savannah, Ga. I create playful, character-driven work filled with color, softness, and storytelling, and I take on freelance projects and collaborations alongside my studies.
My background as a Hispanic artist and my love for expressive, vibrant environments shape the heart of my work. I’m especially drawn to building small, whimsical worlds—imagining the stories behind each character and capturing moments that feel warm, comforting, and a little magical. Inspired by gentle shapes, frogs, and everyday charm, my work is all about creating pieces that feel inviting, lighthearted, and full of personality.

I've been a creative since I was about three years old, when I first picked up a crayon. One of my earliest memories of drawing comes from kindergarten, when my teacher pulled me aside and told me she had never seen a dog drawn quite the way I had drawn it. It was the first time I realized that the way my imagination showed up on paper could be something special.
As I grew up, I spent a long time believing my art needed to be realistic to be“good.”I'd get stuck in my head, overthinking every line and trying to make my drawings look like something they were never meant to be. For years I let my brain lead instead of my hands.
Eventually I learned something kinder about myself and my work. My style isn't realistic — and it doesn't need to be. It's quirky, a little childish, cartoony, and full of bright, happy colors. It's frogs and tiny characters and playful patterns and little sparks of joy tucked into everyday moments.
More than anything, it's honest. It's all the best parts of myself showing up in every stroke. It's what helps make my stormy days a little brighter.
It's my rainbow.
